Our theme this year is “Dig into Reading” and children from 1 to 12 are encouraged to register. The Topsfield Fair will again be one of our sponsors, and will award free passes, including a hot dog, drink and 2 ride tickets, to all children entering Grades K to 6 who complete the program. Uno’s Restaurant in Swampscott will be giving out coupons for a free kids pizza and The Boston Bruins will be awarding some great prizes to randomly selected participants.
All children who register for our program will be entered into a drawing to win some great prizes, such as movie tickets, miniature golf and more! Readers will receive one ticket upon registration and additional tickets each time they check out material or attend a library program. Prizes will be awarded at our end of summer event on August 7. Remember, you MUST be registered to win a prize!
On line registration for the summer reading program will begin on June 8 at www.readsinma.org/swampscott. In person registration will start on June 24. More information will be available on our website, including a full calendar of activities with links to the various performers. Printed calendars will be available on June 24.
